  • University of Shenzhen - Biomedical Engineering Research Assistant (8 weeks)
    Worked as a Software Engineering Research Assistant in the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
    Project: Neuroimaging-based Predicting Brain Age as a Biomarker for Alzheimer’s Disease with Deep Learning
    Individual side-project: Deep learning Network Training with Open Database Images

  • Samsung Cambridge Solution Centre(SCSC) - AssistantEngineer(12weeks)
    Worked with the Verification and Validation Team. Designed and developed a testing platform for MIMO throughput performance.
    • Programming on Linux, Windows and Raspbian
    • Software and hardware debugging and troubleshooting
    • Implemented automated test framework and Jenkins jobs to achieve continuous integration
    • Developed algorithm using matrix to linearize and visualize test results
    • Worked with Git.

  • Detecon China - Consulting Intern (2 weeks)
    • Worked with senior consultants in research of Hybrid Electric Vehicle and O2O.
    • Developed activity planning skills while arranging a team building activity.

PROJECT EXPERIENCE

  • Hackathon - HexCambridge 01/2021

    Designed and developed an Android app, Tappie, that enables users to keep track of daily routine with NFC tags’ aid.

    • Frontend: Interface UI design, UI implementation and interaction with users and NFC Tags
    • Backend: Backend processing, NFC processing
    • Data: For prototype, we use JSON files to store our data.

  • COVID-CHALLENGE 04/2020
    A week-long idea hackathon where candidates played part in helping to mitigate the economic, social and medical impacts of the COVID-19 crisis. I worked with 5 other students from across UK and Ireland.
    • Created an engineering project called Prexium, which is a distance-detection App helping people keep social
    distance during the pandemic.
    • Mass research on the feasibility and necessity of the App.
    • Tested existing open-sourced code for the technology——Bluetooth for distance detection.
    • Designed UI interface prototype and Logo.
    • Further investigation on related business potential and privacy issue.
    • Delivered a pitched presentation at the end of the project.

  • 88 PIANIST 11/2018 - 08/2019
    Led by Professor Allwood at Engineering Department, designed and built 88 mechanisms to allow 88 people playing one piano at the same time.
    • Individually designed mechanisms using SolidWorks.
    • Purchased and assembled the design for the final performance.

  • WEST POINT ACADEMY 07/2018
    Voluntarily taught science subjects to the students ranging from grade 3 to 5 in the local school of Nepal.
